Wendy is running for Judge to make a difference. Wendy has the background and experience to “hit the ground running” as a Judge. Wendy is a problem solver. People who come to court have problems and they need closure. She will work diligently to help people get closure in one of two ways, First, through bringing the parties together and guiding them to an amicable resolution. If they cannot reach an agreement then Wendy will expeditiously give the parties their day in court and a prompt decision. Wendy is guided by the quote from the late poet Maya Angelou: “I’ve come to learn that people forget what you said and forget what you did. However, they never forget how you made them feel.” When people leave Wendy’s courtroom they will feel like they have appeared before a Judge who was well prepared, unbiased, listened to them, respected them and gave them a level playing field.
