Nascimento and Medunic became involved in an argument about photos on Medunic's cell phone, police said. Nascimento then hit and choked her and told her that she was "going to die tonight," the DA's Office said.
Robbins found out that Medunic had been hurt, and came to the home, police said. He and Nascimento attempted to "talk it out," but the two soon began a physical fight which ended with Nascimento shooting Robbins in the head, officials said.

Medunic then fled from the home, but Nascimento shot her several times as she ran and collapsed on a neighbor's porch's, according to police.
While there, Medunic "played dead," and Nascimento fled, police said. He was arrested shortly thereafter.
No bail is available for first degree murder and he was booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
