Montgomery County Is Holding 6 Free Flu Shot Clinics

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — It may still be summer, but start planning now for your flu shot.

Montgomery County is planning six free flu shot clinics this fall.

Five clinics will be held in October, and a sixth in November.

Seasonal flu vaccine is recommended by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for everyone older than 6 months. According to the CDC, vaccination is especially important for people at higher risk of severe influenza and their close contacts, including health-care personnel and close contacts of children younger than 6 months.

Oct. 10, 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Montgomery County Norristown Public Library, 1001 Powell Street, Norristown

Oct. 15, 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Upper Merion Township Building, 175 West Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia

Oct. 19, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Abington Junior High School, 2056 Susquehanna Road, Abington

Oct. 26, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Montgomery County Community College, College Hall 144/148/151, 340 DeKalb Street, Blue Bell

Nov. 5, 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
