Facebook users on the popular community forum "422 Sucks" recommended that drivers coming from the east approaching the Philadelphia Premium Outlets should continue past that exit and get off at the next exit, thereby avoiding the worst of the traffic.

There was also heavy traffic reported on Route 29 approaching 422 in Upper Providence, near the Providence Town Center.

This story will be updated as the day develops.
