New Brewery Opening In Spring City
Philadelphia craft brewers Punch Buggy Brewing Co. are moving into the suburbs.
SPRING CITY, PA — After months of anticipation, a new brewery is opening up its doors in Spring City this weekend.
Punch Buggy Brewing, located on 77 N. Main Street, will hold its grand opening on Saturday, June 13.
"After months of hard work, late nights, and sneak peeks, we are FINALLY opening the doors this weekend," the brewery shared.

Founded in 2019 by four college friends, the brewery started as a taproom in Olde Kensington. Later they briefly opened a second taproom inside Bury The Hatchet Axe Throwing in south Philly, though that closed in 2023.
The new Spring City spot marks their first foray into the suburbs.

The artisan brewery features a variety of carefully crafted IPAs, lagers, sours, saisons, and more.
Cheesesteak joint Deezy's Famous Cheesesteaks will also be at the grand opening Saturday.
The opening comes as nearby Royersford brewery Lost Planet moves into bankruptcy and has gone up for sale, potentially closing soon.
