New Police Bike Donated To Royersford Department

The department said their current bike was over a decade old and in "dire need" of replacement.

ROYERSFORD, PA — Royersford Police have improved their traveling fleet after a donation of a new bike to the department.

The bike is a gift from Rick Lewis and the Lewis Group. The new, fully equipped bike will be used for special events, problem crime areas, and patrolling the Schuylkill River Trail and nearby area.

The department said their current bike was over a decade old and in "dire need" of replacement.

"We would like to express our sincere appreciation and thanks to Rick and the Lewis group for this generous donation," police said Wednesday.
