Laura V. (Berry) Kirtner, 100, of Schwenksville, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.  She was the wife of Earl Kirtner, who passed away in 1983.  Born in Salem, NJ, she was a daughter of the late George H. and Grace V. (Eisley) Berry.

Mrs. Kirtner was the owner of the former Earl Kirtner Toys and Gifts in Limerick and BabyLand in Limerick.  She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church where she was involved with the Senior Fellowship of Limerick.  Laura collected Barbie dolls, enjoyed crocheting, gardening and mowing the lawn.  She especially enjoyed yearly family trips to Wellsboro, PA.

Mrs. Kirtner is survived by her daughter: Joyce E. Derstine, of Schwenksville; five grandchildren: Donald Kirtner, Joana Levengood, Sue Costenbader, Joseph Kirtner, and Douglas DeLong Jr.; ten great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her son, Donald E. Kirtner, three sisters, and six brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Laura’s funeral service on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Road, Limerick, PA, 19468. Officiating will be Bobbie Hoffman, Director of Discipling.  Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories.  Friends will be received from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. James Lutheran Church.  Arrangements are being handled by the .  Condolences may be offered online at www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
