Obituaries

Evelyn P. (Emswiler) Hosler, age 93, wife of the late Rev. Earl M. Hosler, of Upper Providence, PA, formerly of Kennesaw, GA, Apalachin, NY, and Easton, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in the Parkhouse Providence Pointe.

Born in Broadway, VA, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Sarah (Silveus) Emswiler.  Mrs. Hosler was a graduate of Royersford High School.  With her strong Christian faith, she was a partner with her husband in his pastoral ministry for over 30 years.

Mrs. Hosler is survived by three children, Stephen E., husband of the late Dale (Daniels) Hosler of California, Karen J., wife of Peter E. Kispert of Souderton, PA, and Sharon J., wife of Chet D. Cooke of Virginia.  She is also survived by her three beloved granddaughters, whom she dubbed "the ABC cousins:"  Amanda Cooke Williams, Becky Cooke, and Carly Kispert, and by two great grandchildren, Devonte and DaeShauna Williams.  She was preceded in death by six siblings.

A graveside service will take place at the , 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468 on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM.
