WARWICK

Francis J. Warwick Sr., age 81.husband of the late Theresa C. (Baumgard) Warwick, of Upper Providence, PA passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012 in the Parkhouse Providence Pointe. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Harry and Helen (Kucinski) Warwick.

Mr. Warwick was a member of the in Royersford, where he was an usher for many years. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Warwick worked as a cord unit operator at BF Goodrich. He was a life member of the VFW in Trappe and Royersford, as well as the Spring City American Legion. He was a Scout Leader of the Boy Scouts at Sacred Heart Church. He enjoyed working on cars, traveling with his family, especially to their summer home in Cape May, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Warwick is survived by two daughters, Georgette D., wife of Randy Millard of Royersford, and Theresa L. Hoffman of Royersford; one son Michael J. Sr., husband of Brenda Warwick of Trappe; six grandchildren, Francis Warwick III, Carrie Warwick, Michael Warwick Jr., Toni Chapman, Douglas Warwick, and Ryan Warwick; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Francis J. Warwick Jr.; two sisters, Helen Sabo and Maryann Costello; and one brother Harry Warwick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service in the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at , 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA 19468 on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Peter J. DiMaria. Friends will be received at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Friday evening, January 20, 2012 from 7:00-8:30 PM, or in the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Limerick Garden of Memories from 9:00-10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered in his name to the Parkhouse Providence Pointe, 1600 Black Rock Road, Royersford, PA 19468. WEIKEL

Robert L. Weikel, age 86, husband of Dorothy E.S. Weikel, of Royersford, PA passed away on January 14, 2012 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Thomas and Ethel (Lewin) Weikel.

Mr. Weikel served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a 1942 graduate of Royersford High School, attended both Bucknell and Brown Universities, and graduated from the Pierce School of Business Administration where he studied accounting. From 1947-1956, Bob worked as the office manager of Reyburn Manufacturing in Royersford, then went on to own Weikel's Toy and Sport Shop in Royersford for 17 years from 1956-1973. Mr. Weikel served as the first borough manager of Royersford for 17 years, ending in 1988. He was a life member of the in Royersford, where he served as the president of the church council for a number of years. He was a past president and treasurer of the Spring-Ford Historical Society, past president of both the Spring-Ford Rotary and Royersford Jaycees, and was a member of the Royersford Businessman’s Association. A life member of , he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Weikel is survived by two sons, Thomas R., husband of Patricia, and Raymond M., husband of Debra Weikel, both of Royersford; three step-sons, William A. Hanebury of Royersford, Arthur C. Hanebury of Ft. Washington, and Stephen A. Hanebury of North Wales; three step-daughters, Miriam A. Duval of Leonardtown, MD, Christina S. Imburgia of Boothwyn, and Jacqueline D.S. Leonetti of Phoenixville; sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sixth Avenue at Main Street, Royersford, PA on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul H. Neff. Burial will follow in the Fernwood Cemetery. Friends will be received at the , 600 Washington Street, Royersford on Tuesday evening, January 17, 2012 from 6:00-8:30 PM, or at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered in his name to the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 594 Church Street, Royersford, PA 19468 or to the Spring-Ford Area Historical Society, P.O.
