Obituary: Mary "Mina" Mogel, 88

Lifelong resident of Limerick, avid Phillies fan, former Spring-Ford cafeteria worker; July 1

Mary W. "Mina" (Major) Mogel, age 88, wife of the late Charles H. Mogel, of Limerick, PA passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012 in the Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Limerick Township, she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Mary (Umstead) Major.

Mrs. Mogel lived her whole life in Limerick and attended the Limerick Chapel. Mrs. Mogel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked for the Spring-Ford School District as a cafeteria worker for over 25 years. She was a great cook, an avid Phillies fan, and enjoyed reading and puzzles. 

Mrs. Mogel is survived by one daughter, Cynthia A. Paul of Harrisburg, PA; two sons, Ronald L., husband of Anne Mogel of Richmond, VA, and James A., husband of Brenda Mogel of Boyertown, PA; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, R. Edward Mogel, and six brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Limerick Chapel, 378 West Ridge Pike, Limerick, PA 19468 on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Daniel M. Peters. Burial will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received at the church Monday morning from 10:00-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Limerick Chapel at the address above. Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be offered online by visiting http://www.royersfordfuneralhome.com/.
