One Hospitalized After Royersford Crash

ROYERSFORD, PA — One person was hospitalized after a crash in Royersford late Sunday night, authorities said.

The incident occurred at around 10:55 p.m. on Fruit Farm Road, according to the Royersford Fire Department.

A silver four door sedan collided with a dark colored pick up truck, sending both vehicles skidding off the road and into a nearby yard.

The sedan suffered heavy damage to its front and sides, images from the scene show. The truck severely damaged its rear left wheel well and bumper.

One victim was taken to the hospital after the crash.

Crews were on the scene into the early hours of Monday morning cleaning up the roadway.
