Patch 101: Non-Profit Organizations Can Qualify for Free Advertising
Five percent of our ad space is free of charge to nonprofits.
Volunteering is a big part of Patch. We volunteer at least five times a year, list volunteer opportunities in our calendar and let groups make announcements when they're in need of volunteers.
At Patch we also designate 5 percent of advertising space to local charities and nonprofits free of charge. This way the organizations get a little in return for doing good deeds for the community.
