Phoenixville 'Trading Card Series' Highlights First Female Firefighter

Lois Deuble was the borough's first female firefighter.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Many heroes are immortalized with a trading card, so it makes sense that firefighters with the Phoenixville Fire Department were given their own cards to hand out to area youth.

The department recently posted a photo on Facebook recalling Lois Deuble, the borough’s very first female firefighter.

Deuble was featured in the trading card series in 1999, the department said.
