Police Investigate Shots Fired In Limerick

Police are investigating reports of shots fired in Limerick in the area of Linfield Trappe Road.

LIMERICK, PA -- Police in Limerick are investigating shots fired in the early morning hours of Sunday, September 18 in the township.

According to a press release from the police department, up to five shots were fired at about 3:03 a.m. on the first block of Linfield Trappe Road.

Police said that they responded to the scene immediately but were unable to discover any evidence.

After sunrise, a local resident reported damage to their home and vehicle consistent with gunfire, police said.

No injuries were reported.
