Pothole Repairs Planned On 422 This Week

A long stretch of 422 will have potholes repaired this week, PennDOT announced.

Stretches of the road in Lower Providence, Upper Providence, Lower Pottsgrove, and North Coventry will all be repaved. The work wil be ongoing from April 8 through April 12.

If you've had the misfortune of hitting one and damaging a tire on your car, it may seem like it's a bit too late. But the state is continuing in its efforts to improve the region's roadways as winter weather slips away.

More than 60 highways around the Philadephia region will be repaired next week, including seven more roads in Montgomery County:

• Morris Road/Harrington Road in Lower Merion Township;
• Gulph Road in Upper Merion Township;
• Davisville Road in Upper Moreland Township;
• Gypsy Hill Road in Lower Gwynedd Township;
• Fort Washington Avenue in Lower Moreland Township;
• Byberry Road in Hatboro Borough;
• Park Avenue in Lower Providence Township

The following Chester County roadways will also be repaired:

• Route 82 (Manor Road) in West Nantmeal Township;
• Route 895 (Newark Road) in Penn & New London townships;
• Ship Road in Uwchlan Township;
• Bethel Church Road in East Coventry Township;
• Chestnut Tree Road in Honey Brook Township;
• Lower Pine Creek Road in West Pikeland Township;
• Old Wilmington Road in West Caln Township;
• Media Road in East Nottingham Township;
• Strickersville Road in Franklin Township;
• Yellow Springs Road in Tredyffrin Township;
• Country Club Road in Tredyffrin Township;
• Devon State Road in Easttown Township;
• Old Eagle School Road in Tredyffrin Township;
• King Road in West Whiteland, East Whiteland townships;
• Boot Road in East Township
• Pottstown Pike in West Goshen, West Whiteland townships
