Repeated Vandalism Leads To Closure Of Royersford Library Box

Royersford Free Public Library has shut down their drop box "indefinitely" due to repeated acts of vandalism.

ROYERSFORD, PA — Royersford Free Public Library has shut down their drop box "indefinitely" due to repeated acts of vandalism, they announced.

The box, located on Washington Street, has had bottles filled with liquids dumped inside of it, damaging books.

The library said that patrons may use the drop box by the front door when the library itself is closed.
