Road Improvement Work To Take Place On Route 422 This Week

Work will target a brutal 4.4 mile stretch of roadway.

UPPER PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP, PA — Road improvement work will continue on a stretches of Route 422 in Montgomery County this week as PennDOT crews work to make the road more drivable.

Milling and paving will take place along a 4.4 mile stretch of roadway between Troutman Road and Royersford Road in Limerick and Upper Providence Township.

Work will be held from Aug. 16 through Aug. 20.

Westbound lanes will be restricted from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., while eastbound lanes will be restricted from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

In addition to milling and paving, crews will repair ruts and potholes, repaint lines, add rumble strips, and perform other needed repairs.
