Route 422 Construction To Shut Down Lanes Next Week

The work is part of a larger $83.6 million​ PennDOT project to reconstruct 2.1 miles of 422.

LOWER POTTSGROVE TOWNSHIP, PA — Construction will get underway next week on Route 422 in both directions, leading to lane closures throughout the week, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said.

Work will occur throughout Lower Pottsgrove Township and North Coventry Township from Monday, Feb. 23 through Friday, Feb. 27.

A periodic lane closure will be in place from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on westbound 422 from the Sanatoga exit to Hanover Road.

Another periodic lane closure will impact eastbound 422 in the same area.

Drivers should plan for delays if traveling nearby at that time.
