Royersford Area Pup Of The Week: Harley
Meet this week's puppy of the week for the Royersford area: Harley.
ROYERSFORD, PA — The submissions are in. While every pup is a good boy or girl, this week we're featuring Harley as the Royersford area pup of the week.
Here's what the family has to say:
"Harley is a male, Shih Tzu pup who is almost 1 1/2 years old. He is the most loving, friendly dog you would ever want to meet. We take him to the bus stop with us every morning (he is the first one ready to get in the car during the morning rush!). All the kids and the adults are excited to see him every morning - he makes sure to get his head pats and belly rubs from each and every person and will give kisses to anyone willing to take them :) In the afternoon, he gives me a big nudge when it's time to pick the girls up from the bus stop - he waits patiently to greet every kid off the bus - even our neighbors catholic school bus that usually arrives prior to ours. It's so cute to see each of them give him a quick pet and say "Hi Harley!, as they walk by". I never had any intention of getting a puppy, but my girls now 9 and 13 were begging to go to the pet store last year and we all fell in love...I did some quick research on Shih Tzus and saw they didn't shed, didn't bark much, and were good with kids. The next day, much to my husband's dismay - we went back and adopted Harley. He has been such a great addition to our family, we can't imagine life without him."
