Royersford Hit And Run Suspect Found After Public Tips
A tip from a resident helped police track down the driver.

ROYERSFORD, PA — A hit and run driver was tracked down in Royersford Thursday afternoon after a tip from the public provided police with the clues they needed.
An investigation revealed the damage to the vehicle, which the resident had notified police of, matched the estimated damage of the vehicle involved in the crash.
The driver of the vehicle was charged with accidents involving damage to attended vehicle and related counts.

Police did not identify the driver publicly.
The hit and run crash, involving the suspect's white Nissan Altima, occurred at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Main Street at around 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
