Royersford Man Busted For $30k 'Retail Theft Ring': Report

The couple were reselling stolen oral hygiene products at a huge profit, including tootbrushes, whitening strips, and more.

WEST CHESTER, PA - A Montgomery County couple were arrested on charges of organizing the theft of nearly $30,000 worth of retail, according to a report.

Eric Jermoe Elliot, 37, of Royersford, and Ingid Liberty Froehlich, 40, of Bridgeport, were investigated for the thefts between November 23 and December 21, the report states.

Froelich fled the stores after each theft and rode away in a black Lexus sedan driven by Elliot, according to the Times Herald.

Police did not say which stores the couple hit specifically.

They were allegedly stealing oral hygiene products and then reselling them to a Montgomery County pawn shop, the report states.

The thefts had been occurring since May of 2015.

Stolen items that were resold included electric toothbrushes, teeth whitening strips, calculators, blood pressure monitors and various electric tools, reports state.
