Royersford Police Officer Struck By Car: Cops
Police say that an officer was directing traffic when the incident took place.

ROYERSFORD, PA -- A Royersford police officer was struck by a car early Monday morning while directing traffic downtown, police said.
The officer was directing traffic after a vehicle accident occurred near the intersection of Main Street and 10th Avenue, according to police.
He was struck at 5:47 a.m.

The officer was not seriously injured, police said, and he is now recovering at home.
Police noted that steady rain was falling at the time of the incident and that visibility was significantly hampered.
