Royersford Police Plan 'National Night Out'

ROYERSFORD, PA — Police in Royersford will hold their National Night Out event early next month.

It will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the First United Church of Christ.

According to organizers, the annual, nationwide event aims to bring police and the community closer together to promote awareness, safety, and neighborhood unity. National Night Out showcases the vital importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in the fight for a safer nation, officials said.

The free event will feature games, food, and arts and crafts, along with a chance to meet members of the Royersford Police Department, Royersford Fire Department, and other local first responders.

Representatives from numerous local businesses and organizations will be on hand as well.
