Royersford Police Prepare For National Night Out Celebrations

ROYERSFORD, PA — National Night Out will be held in Royersford on Tuesday, August 2.

National Night Out is an initiative in which people in towns across the country gather at their homes, on their streets, and at their local community centers in recognition of their support of the community.

It helps strengthen the partnership between the community and police.

There will be free food, music, activities, motor vehicles of all kinds on display including local police from Royersford, Limerick, and Upper Providence.

Local fire departments will also be on hand with some of their apparatuses. A selfies station will be set up for kids and adults of all ages to take selfies and post them to social media.

There will also be a group on hand from a local Disabled Veterans of America to answer any questions from all veterans.

The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Washington Street, between 3rd and 5th.
