Royersford Tree Lighting Set For Friday

ROYERSFORD, PA — The official start to the Christmas season is Friday night in Royersford, as the annual tree lighting ceremony is set.

Fesitivities will begin at 6 p.m. on Main Street across from 3rd Avenue with holiday music and numerous free goodies, including hot dogs, cookies, coffee, and chocolate for the whole family.

Participants can also bring along letters for Santa for a special mailbox.

Numerous businesses will be open, including All That Jazz Dancewear, The Big Easy, Brewed Awakening, Calhoun Jewelers, Center Massage - Royersford, GIOVANNI'S PIZZERIA, Main Street Cafe, MW Group, LLC / Premier Payroll Services, The Muscle Therapy Massage Center, Reality Pilates Reformer, Rust & Sparkle, and Velvet Luxe Salon, LLC.

Food drive items will also be accepted for the the RBA Neighbors Helping Neighbors drive. Specifically, toothpaste, soap, deoderant, feminine products, laundry detergent, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, and socks are all needed.
