Royersford Woman Arrested For DUI, Fentanyl Possession After 422 Crash: Cops

A Royersford woman has been arrested for DUI and possession of fentanyl after crashing on Route 422, police said.

ROYERSFORD, PA — A Royersford woman has been arrested for DUI and possession of fentanyl after crashing on Route 422 this spring, police said.

Amanda Ortlip, 26, of Royersford, was driving on Route 422 eastbound on April, 22 when North Coventry Police were alerted to an erratic driver.

When authorities arrived at mile marker 171.8, Ortlip had crashed the car and passed out behind the wheel, police said.

Ortlip was administered with a Narcan dosage after overdosing on both oxycodone and fentanyl, according to police.

She also had oxycodone laced with fentanyl with her in the car, police said.

Ortlip was not arrested until Aug. 26 pending test results.

A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
