Royersford's French Quarter Bistro To Shut Down

The popular local establishment is closing its doors. But a new restaurant is on the way.

ROYERSFORD, PA — A popular local eatery is closing its doors.

French Quarter Bistro, located on 215 Main Street, has been operating for 18 years.

"After contemplating business here and the hours and dedication it takes to run a successful business I have decided it’s time to close the french Quarter Bistro and look forward to new opportunities," owner Mark VanHorn said in a statement published on social media. "Not quite sure what they are yet but the world works in mysterious ways. The last 18 years have been a blast! I have had the pleasure of watching this town grow in leaps and bounds. I’ve had the pleasure of owning my own restaurant and cooking my food .. my way.... and have been lucky enough to have had people go out of their way to tell me how much they appreciate what I was doing in this little town. And for that I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
