Santa Won't Ride Fire Truck In Spring City, E. Vincent This Year

SPRING CITY, PA — Santa Claus will not ride the fire truck through Spring City and East Vincent this year.

Officials said they hoped the popular tradition could continue in the future.

The Liberty Fire Co. cited declining volunteer manpower in all departments as the reason.

"Hopefully in the new year we will get new personnel to join and we can continue the tradition next year again," the department said in a station.
