Senior Impact Awards to Honor 124 Educators
124 educators to receive Senior Impact Awards during emotional May 2 ceremony. Annual Senior Impact Awards ceremony planned for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2.

ROYERSFORD — students will honor 124 educators as part of the , which will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2 in the cafeteria of the Spring-Ford Intermediate School, 833 S. Lewis Road in Royersford.
At the event, the high school seniors who nominated their teachers, support staff, coaches and other adults for awards will attend and accompany their mentors as they receive awards. The evening is an opportunity for students to recognize those who have had a significant influence in their lives.

There were 274 seniors who submitted nominations this year. On the nomination form, students were encouraged to describe in 50 words or less what the nominee did to make a positive impact in their lives. Seniors were allowed to nominate any adult previously or presently associated with the school district.
The Senior Impact Awards began seven years ago and has grown in popularity. The emotional celebration is a night that seniors cherish as they prepare to move on to a new chapter in their lives. For the nominees, it is also special.

“Throughout this school year, we have encouraged our faculty and staff to unlock the potential of our students’ dreams,” Superintendent Dr. David Goodin said. “A ceremony like the Senior Impact Awards provides students with an opportunity to express their appreciation and celebrate the work that these outstanding individuals do for our schools.”
