Services Announced For Steve Bonetz, Beloved 'Voice Of Spring-Ford'

Services have been announced for Steve Bonetz, the "Voice of Spring-Ford," who died suddenly at age 46 earlier this week.

ROYERSFORD, PA —Steven E. Bonetz, age 46, husband of Jennifer (Dreger) Bonetz, of Douglassville, PA, died suddenly of natural causes on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in Royersford, PA. Born on April 10, 1971 in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of Robert W. and Judith L. (Pfleger) Bonetz. He was a 1990 graduate of Spring-Ford High School. He received his Masters degree in 2005 from Kutztown University. Steve was the force behind the organization and start of RCTV (Ram Country Television). He was often referred to as the "Voice of Spring-Ford." He was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Douglassville. Steve also owned and operated Absolute Video specializing in various video services. He will be remembered as not only a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend, but a terrific colleague and mentor to his co-workers.

In addition to his wife of 20 years and his parents, Steve is survived by Two Children, Ashley J. Bonetz, Austin E. Bonetz both at home in Douglassville, PA; Sister, Sherrie L., wife of Gary Iskenian; Nephew, Simon C. Iskenian. Steve was pre-deceased by Infant Son, Alex Jacob Bonetz and Brother, David A. Bonetz.

Friends will be received from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm Monday at Spring-Ford Senior High School, 350 South Lewis Road, Royersford, PA. Upon entrance at the Senior High School go around the building to the right. You will enter through the Auditorium / Gymnasium entrance, door #12. There will be a time for his friends and co-workers to share some light-hearted stories about Steve beginning at 8pm on Monday night at the School. There will be another receiving time from 9-10:15 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 548 Old Swede Road, Douglassville, PA on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. Officiating will be Rev. Gregory W. Frey. Burial will be held in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to "St. Paul's Lutheran Church" at the above address. The funds collected will be used to further the education of Steve's children and to start a scholarship fund in Steve's name at Spring-Ford.
