SFASD: Parents Invited to Open House in September

Two open houses at Spring-Ford are being administered this month.

The following is a press release provided by Jess Lester, representing the Spring-Ford Area School District:

ROYERSFORD - Spring-Ford High School parents will have the opportunity to experience what their son or daughter does during a typical school day as part of two open houses being planned for later this month.

Parents of students in grades 10-12 are invited to attend Open House from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20th in the 10-12 Center at 350 S. Lewis Road in Royersford. Parents can enter through the main entrance (Doors 1,2 and 3), the gymnasium/auditorium lobby (Door 12), or the senior wing (Door 14). The Golden Ram Marching Unit, along with students and staff, will be on hand to greet visitors.

A separate orientation/open house will be held for parents of ninth-grade students from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27th at the 9th Grade Center, 400 S. Lewis Road in Royersford.

Parents must know their child's first period room number and report there at the start of the evening. They will be able to travel from class to class, meet their child's teachers and learn about academic expectations for the year.

"We look forward to welcoming all of our parents and encourage them to come out for our open houses so that they may get to know their child's teachers and find out more about high school expectations and opportunities," said High School Principal Patrick Nugent.
