SFASD Receives $2,500 from Meridian Bank

A followup to the Meridian Bank contribution from late last year.

The following excerpt comes from the Jan. 18 edition of The Pottstown Mercury's BUSINESS NEWS section:

DEVON – Meridian Bank announced it has contributed $2,500 to the Spring-Ford Educational Foundation as part of a two-year, $5,000 commitment.

The Spring-Ford Educational Foundation was established in 1993 as a nonprofit arm of the Spring Ford School District. The foundation aims to help the district provide scholarships, special programs and services for students and the community that might not be possible otherwise.

Superintendent David Goodin thanked Erwin Wenner (Spring-Ford Class of 1973) and the Meridian Bank for the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Contribution of $2,500 to the school district at the Dec. 5 .
