The Grace M. Reimard Scholarship is awarded to two area seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in family and consumer sciences. They must apply and submit transcripts and two letters of recommendation to the Montgomery-Bucks Family and Consumer Science Association’s scholarship committee in order to be considered for the $500 grant.

Diana Ward, high school family and consumer sciences department chairwoman, said the scholarship allows students to invest in their education and plan for a future career in family and consumer sciences.

Konefsky agreed, and was appreciative that the committee chose her, especially since she wants to become a chef and own her own restaurant one day.

“I am deeply grateful that I was selected for The Grace M. Reimard Scholarship because it will help with my college needs and securing my future dreams,” Konefsky added.
