Sinkhole Opens In Upper Providence, Road Shut Down
Drivers are being detoured Thursday morning after the latest sinkhole.
UPPER PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP, PA — A sinkhole opened up in Upper Providence Township Thursday morning, leading to a road closure.
The incident occurred on Hopwood Road. The road is closed between Route 29 and Morgan Lane.
Drivers are being detoured to Arcola Road and Mennonite Road.

Upper Providence public works crews are on scene and working to repair the issue.
The township says that the nearby Community Center at Anderson Farm Park remains open.
