Snow Emergency Declared In Spring City
Breaking: The borough of Spring City has declared a Snow Emergency ahead of the coming storm. Here's what to know, including parking.

SPRING CITY, PA — The borough of Spring City has declared a Snow Emergency ahead of the coming storm, which could dump as much as six to seven inches on the Limerick-Royersford-Spring City area.
The declaration will go into effect at 6 a.m. Thursday morning and is set to expire at 10 p.m. Thursday evening, the police department announced Wednesday evening.
As part of the Snow Emergency, parking is prohibited along all posted emergency routes. Vehicles found in these routes will be ticketed and towed, police said.

Officials also remind residents that it is illegal to plow snow from sidewalks or driveways into the street.
The Spring-Ford Area School District has not yet announced a decision on closings, as of 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
