Sports Brief: Action Resumes Today
Baseball and Softball semifinals will be played today. Boys lacrosse finished up fourth quarter.

After much anticipated weather complications, it was determined that today would be the day for the baseball and softball PAC-10 semifinals games to be played for the Spring-Ford Rams.
Softball faces off against Perkiomen Valley at Pine Forge Academy at 5 p.m. Meanwhile, Baseball faces Methacton at at 7 p.m. The championship games will be played on Thursday.
As for boys lacrosse, the Rams and Great Valley were set to begin the fourth quarter of the District One Round One tournament game last night when lightning struck nearby. The time was 8:10 p.m. At about 9:40 p.m., it was finally determiend that the fourth quarter would be played today at 3 p.m. at Coach McNelly Stadium. Great Valley leads 8-5 in the game.

Girls lacrosse has ended its season after a district yesterday afternoon. Boys tennis is also done after and won the .
Track and Field head coach Ken DeAngelo submitted the following information about this weekend's District Meet.

"We will be attending the District One track meet at Coatesville this weekend, Friday and Saturday [at 9 a.m.]" DeAngelo said. "We have a large group of 32 athletes competing, all trying to qualify for the state meet at Shippensburg next weekend. Athletes must finish in the top eight at Districts and run, jump or throw a minimum qualifying standard.
"We have entered a girls and boys 4x800 wth the boys being a very high seed. That's and David O'Such, and Xavier Ingram. is a high seed in both hurdles with trials on Friday. Natalie Thomas is also a high seed in the high jump with a 5-feet-4 seed. and Brandon Palaia will compete in the javelin as well as . Ryan Pierson will be pole vaulting and Joe Bush will compete in both long and triple Jump. will compete in the 1600 as well as Magalon."
