"OJR scored two goals (Julianna Provini and Meghan Antrim) in the first half off two defensive mistakes," said head coach Sheldon Chamberlain. "Spring-Ford came roaring back to score a goal by Megan Giannoupolis who beat the goalie one-v-one and placed the ball in the lower 90. Spring-Ford dominated the second half missing several opportunities to tie the game. The Rams pounded OJR with 21 shots on goal to 11 shots for OJR and 12 corner kicks to one."

Friday, Oct. 14

Girls Soccer (away) def. Phoenixville, 4-1

"Sammy Stipa scored a hat-trick and Megan Giannoupolis added another goal to seal the victory for the Rams," said head coach Sheldon Chamberlain. "Spring-Ford had 12 shots on goal and seven corner kicks to Phoenixville’s seven shots on goal and three corner kicks. This brings Spring-Ford’s record to 5-8 overall and 5-6 in the PAC 10 conference."

"This was a match I have been waiting for since we played them the first time, and it wasn't the same Spring-Ford team from earlier in the year, we were more disciplined and consistent than ever before," said head coach Josh McNulty. "It was a very emotional and adrenaline driven match with the girls giving it their all ever point, and we took PJP by surprise."

Saturday, Oct. 15

Downingtown East def. Girls Soccer (home), 4-0

"East was superior in many parts of the game as the Spring-Ford girls battled until the end of the contest," said head coach Sheldon Chamberlain. "This brings Spring-Ford’s record to 5-9 overall and 5-6 in the PAC 10 conference."
