Spring City Health Inspections: Spring-Ford DIner, Tracy's Pizza, Spring Hollow

The Chester County Health Department has inspected several Spring City locations over the past month. See what they found.

SPRING CITY, PA -- How sanitary are local food establishments?

The Chester County Health Department has inspected several area locations over the past month, from the period of September 7 to October 4.

Tracy's Pizza and Deli led the way with nine violations. Some violations included foods kept at hazardous temperatures, chlorine strips lacking sanitizer, cutting board containing deep grooves that cannot be cleaned, and equipment containing food residue, among other violations.

The rest of the inspections for the past month are included below. Inspections fall into one of several categories: a regular unannounced visit, a scheduled follow-up to address previous violations, a complaint, or an inspection performed at the opening of a facility.

  • Spring City Elementary School, inspected September 27, no violations
  • Spring Hollow Golf Course, inspected September 23, no violations (follow-up)
  • Spring-Ford Diner, inspected September 21, three violations (follow-up)
  • Tracy's Pizza and Deli, inspected September 19, nine violations
