Spring City Man Arrested In North Coventry Shooting: Report

A Spring City man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in North Coventry early Wednesday morning, according to a report by the Pottstown Mercury.

Zachary David Ludwig, 22, of Spring City has been charged in the shooting that occurred around 2 a.m. Wednesday and left one man in critical condition, according to the report.

The victim, Nicholas Mruczek, was found lying in the hallway and heavily bleeding, the report stated.

Mruczek identified the shooter as “Zach” and said that he was Mruczek’s girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend, according to the report.

Mruczek was taken to the trauma unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, the report stated.
