Spring City Native Readies For Football Season At Bucknell

Malvern Prep graduate Nick Zarkoski is entering his freshman year at Bucknell University, where he will play defensive end for the Bisons.

The Spring City native recently arrived in Lewisburg and is becoming acquainted with college football at the Division 1 level.

As he prepares for the upcoming season, BucknellBisons.com sat down with him and asked him a few questions:

MY FIRST THOUGHT STEPPING ON THE BUCKNELL UNIVERSITY CAMPUS WAS: On the car ride up - This is a waste of time. First Step reaction - WOW. Car ride home - I’m not going anywhere else.

BEST PART OF BUCKNELL FOOTBALL: Everyone in the community, players, coaches, trainers, announcers etc.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT GAMEDAY IS: Getting that first tackle feeling

MY FAVORITE PREGAME MEAL IS: Something light light between warmups and walkouts

MY POST-GRADUATE PLANS ARE: Haven’t gotten there yet

I SPENT MY SUMMER: Working out during the weekdays then Avalon, New Jersey, on the weekends
