Spring City Woman Who Fostered More Than 35 Children Passes Away
A beloved Spring City woman who fostered more than 35 children and owned her own daycare has passed away.

SPRING CITY, PA — Marie T. Giorgio, age 75, wife of the late Girard N. Giorgio, of Spring City, PA, died Sunday, October 15, 2017 in her home. Born on February 14, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Jerry and Mary (Stoffere) Angelini. Mrs. Giorgio was the owner and operator of a day care in her home for years. She fostered over 35 children.
Mrs. Giorgio is survived by Nine Children, Nicholas Giorgio, Suzanne Funk, Girard "Butch" Giorgio, Mark Giorgio, Nicole Boehmer, Melissa Giorgio, Staci Giorgio, Justin Giorgio, Vincent Giorgio; Many Grandchildren, and Three Great Grandchildren, Mrs. Giorgio was pre-deceased by Children, Esther Morris, Michael Giorgio and Two Grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Donald B. Eisenhauer. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 9:00 am - 10:00 am Friday at the funeral home.
