ROYERSFORD, PA -- Spring-Ford High School alum Rebecca Cubbler is making big strides at Bloomsburg University. The star freshman swimmer and 2016 Spring-Ford graduate has wasted no time in making her mark as a Husky. Cubbler broke the Bloomsburg school record in the 200 meter freestyle during the recent PSAC championships. All told, she earned medals in her four individual events and three relay events at hte meet. Her time in the 200 free was good enough to rank her 32nd in the nation, among all Division 2 schools. The star freshman swimmer and 2016 Spring-Ford graduate has wasted no time in making her mark as a Husky. Cubbler broke the Bloomsburg school record in the 200 meter freestyle during the recent PSAC championships.

All told, she earned medals in her four individual events and three relay events at hte meet. Her time in the 200 free was good enough to rank her 32nd in the nation, among all Division 2 schools.

She will now travel with Bloomsburg to Birmingham, Alabama this week for the Division 2 NCAA Championships. Congrats Rebecca, and best of luck!
