ROYERSFORD, PA -- Spring-Ford School District Communications Media Manager, Steve Bonetz, has been recognized by a state association for his excellent work at the school.
Bonetz received the 2017 PSADA Robert Buckanavage Citation Award from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Directors Association.
Bonetz, a 1990 Spring-Ford graduate, plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing Ram Country TV and coverage of various sporting events in the district.

Prior to his time at Spring-Ford, Bonetz received a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Kutztown. He also spent time working as a sports reporter, covering the Reading Phillies, the Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, and the Philadelphia Phillies, the school district said.
