Spring-Ford Elects Donald Trump President In Mock Election
A mock election at Spring-Ford High School on Tuesday favored the Republican nominee.

ROYERSFORD, PA -- A mock election at Spring-Ford High School on Tuesday favored Republican nominee Donald Trump.
Students were given the chance to vote for Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Green Party candidate Jill Stein, or Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson.
Trump won about 42 percent of the vote, followed by Clinton with 35 percent, Johnson with 9.2 percent, "no vote" with 8.3 percent, and Stein with 5.4 percent, the school said.

School officials said that social studies classes watched student-made presentations about the candidates before voting.
Students who were undecided could brush-up on minute facts about the candidates, or select “no vote" when they hit the polls.

In addition, the school said that students also made campaign posters and brochures for each candidate.
