Spring-Ford Senior Selected As United States Senate Youth Delegate
Congratulations!

Spring-Ford Area High School senior Roshni Mehta, was selected as one of only two students to represent Pennsylvania as a delegate to the United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP), the district announced in a press release.
Established in 1962, USSYP is a unique educational experience for outstanding high school students interested in pursuing careers in public service.
Two student leaders from each state will spend a week in Washington experiencing their national government in action.

Student delegates will hear major policy addresses, as well as participate in a meeting with a Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.
In addition, each delegate will be awarded a $5,000 College Scholarship for undergraduate studies.
