Spring Valley YMCA Healthy Kids Day
Get a head start on the Best. Summer. Ever. April 30 at Healthy Kids Day, the Y's FREE day of creative, challenging, fit family fun!
Scheduled Activities:
- 10:00 am – Warm up with our Health/Wellness Team for the Family Walk/Run on the outdoor track
- 10:15 am – Family one-mile Walk/Run on the outdoor track
- 11:30 am Legacy Karate Demo in Gym A
Ongoing Activities:
- Visit our vendors
- Face Painting
- Moon Bounce
- Obstacle Course & games in Gym A
- Healthy Cooking Demo in the lobby
- Limerick Fire Department Ladder Truck outside (weather permitting)
- Bike Rodeo/Bike Ramp Course outside (weather permitting): Bring your bike and bike helmet to experience our bike ramp course! Watch a demo and ride through the course yourself! Bike helmet is required to ride the course. Limited equipment will also be available to borrow.

- Animal Adoptions: Stray Cat Blues and Ruff Life Rescue are bringing cats and puppies for adoption! Cats and kittens from Stray Cat Blues will be in the lobby and the puppies from Ruff Life will be outside on the veranda (weather permitting). Please stop by to see the animals, learn about them and consider bringing a pet home to join your family!
