Summer Flashback: Spring-Ford Graduate Named Freshman of the Year
A Clarion University student and Spring-Ford alumnus wins an honorable award back in April.

The following is an alumnus-update provided by Jess Lester, representing the Spring-Ford Area School District.
Spring-Ford High School graduate Moyo Wills, class of 2010, was named as Clarion University's Freshman of the Year during an April 16 Minority Student Services recognition dinner.
The Minority Recognition Dinner recognizes students for their achievements in the academic, leadership, athletic and service areas. The banquet organizers hope to encourage and inspire other minority students to perform to their fullest. Over 100 students were honored at the banquet, with Wills selected as Freshman of the Year for his work serving as an admissions tour guide, hosting a radio show and participating in Greek Life, Black Student Union and other groups and clubs.
