Support Julia's Grace Foundation at Waffa-looza!

Gear up for National Waffle Day at Waffa-looza to benefit Royersford-based, Julia’s Grace Foundation®! The event will be held on Saturday, August 19 from 11 AM to 5 PM at Waffatopia’s Waffary, Conshohocken, rain or shine. This event pays homage to #8 on Julia’s list – “Have waffles and ice cream” and features a peek behind the scenes at the Waffary, music, games, and raffles. Admission is free, but a $5 suggested donation will entitle you to a serving of waffles and ice cream. The Waffary is located at 1050 Colwell Lane, Suite 302, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Julia’s Grace Foundation® was created to honor the dreams and wishes of cancer patient Julia Grace Eveland, (2004-2013) from Royersford, PA. Julia’s mother, Janet Miller-Eveland reveals, “Right before Julia left us, she shared a list of ten things with us to “make us happy” for when we needed it. This list (available on the Foundation’s website, https://www.juliasgracefoundation.org/howwehelp ) provides the heart of the Foundation’s “HUGS”.

Julia’s Grace Foundation® is a registered 501(c)(3) charity, founded to continue Julia's work of bringing happiness to children with cancer and their families. The Foundation helps children with cancer and their families by providing support to make days “normal”. Remembering that kids need to be kids and everyone needs a “hug,” the Julia’s Grace Foundation® offers opportunities for special family moments, whether at home, in the hospital or at public events and venues. The Foundation also grants assistance or “graces” to families experiencing financial hardship due to the direct result of a child’s cancer treatment and care, raises money to be used to fund childhood cancer research projects, and works to increase public awareness of childhood cancer.
