Teenager Struck By SUV In Limerick: Cops
A 15-year-old boy was hit by a Lexus SUV in the streets of Limerick on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

LIMERICK, PA -- A teenage boy was struck by an SUV in the Royersford section of Limerick Township on Tuesday afternoon, the Limerick Police Department stated.
The incident occurred at 2:38 p.m. near the intersection of S. Lewis Road and Spring Street, authorities said.
The boy was walking across S. Lewis Road when a Lexus SUV, heading north, struck him in the road, according to police.

He was immediately taken by Friendship Ambulance of Royersford to Phoenixville Hospital for treatment of what police described as non-life threatening injuries.
The driver and passenger of the Lexus were not injured, police said.

After the accident, S. Lewis Road was closed for roughly an hour between Washington Street and Spring-Ford Senior High School.
In addition to Limerick police, crews from the Upper Providence Township Police Department, the Linfield Fire Department, and the Spring Ford School Police helped on the scene.
