
School is officially underway for the Spring-Ford Area School District and Spring-Ford High School sports are already in action, with girls and boys golf adding wins in the first week. Now, the Rams are set to kick off the rest of the athletics action with big matchups across the board.

1. Girls' Tennis Season and Home Opener vs. Phoenixville H.S. (3:30 p.m., Tuesday) - The girls opened up with a 6-1 win over Phoenixville last year and eighth-year head coach Todd Reagan that set the momentum for last year's 11-2 campaign. The girls will look to do the same this time around.

2. Season and Home Opener vs. Boyertown H.S. (4:00 p.m., Friday) - The boys knocked out Boyertown in the PAC-10 championship run in 2010, so there are certainly revenge implications for the Bears.
3. in the Henderson Tournament (8 p.m., Friday and Saturday) - The girls are participating in the Henderson Tournament before kicking off the season's regular games next week.

4. Season and Home Opener vs. West Chester East (7 p.m., Friday) - Football had a strong run in the first year of the Chad Brubaker era and looks to continue its path to success in 2011. They open against West Chester East at home on Friday night. Stay tuned to Patch for coverage.
5. Season Opener @ Downingtown East (12:00 p.m., Saturday) - The girls open up on the road against Downingtown East.
